Some or all of the costs of your tuition, fees and books may be covered by financial aid. You may also receive additional aid to help cover personal expenses such as housing, meals, and transportation. Financial Aid awards decisions are based on need, eligibility, and available funds.
The Types of Financial Aid awarded include Federal Direct Loans, Federal Pell Grants, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants, Federal Work Study, Academic Competitiveness Grants, and »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ grants and scholarships.

FEDERAL STUDENT AID – FAFSA
To apply for federal assistance, a student (and parents of dependent students) must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) annually. Complete a FAFSA online at .
Apply at least four weeks prior to the FAFSA deadline, to provide sufficient time to review your application.
FAFSAs received by June 1 will be considered for all available aid. Applications received after June 1 may only be considered for Pell, TAP, APTS, and student loans.

Apply for New York State Tuition Assistance (TAP)
- If you are a New York State resident, complete the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) application. Failure to complete a TAP application at the time a FAFSA was filed, will result in a State Processing Center postcard outlining application instructions. - Part-Time New York State residents may apply for aid by July 1 for Fall and November 15 for Spring. Applications are available.
